Daifuku supplies numerous cleanroom transport & storage systems essential in manufacturing semiconductor, flat panel display (FPD) such as LCD/Plasma, to industry leaders in Japan, the U.S., Europe, Korea, and Taiwan.

Cleanrooms are required for semiconductor production, and because human output emits dust, automation is used for intrabay and interbay transport & storage systems. Daifuku's HID, non-contact power system supplies overhead monorails which eliminates abrasion powder.

Additionally, advanced know-how is required to handle fragile (0.7mm) and flexible glass substrates especially as FPD screen size continues to increase requiring the glass substrate size to increase accordingly (8th generation size is 2,200 x 2,500mm). Daifuku has lead the development of this new technology for transporting and storing. Our cleanroom systems transport material and provide a complete system solution to improve operational efficiency of the entire fab.
